What
is Fun With Science |
"Fun With Science" is a "Mr.
Wizard" type of show intended to stimulate the
student's interest in science. The program consists of
a series of demonstrations of chemical and physical
reactions that are both interesting and fun. You have
heard the saying "A picture is worth a thousand
words." In science, the demonstration speaks more
eloquently than anything described only in words. The
student is left with a lasting impression of a principle or
phenomena.
"Fun With Science" is offerred without charge
to both public and private schools in the greater Nashville
area within 25 mile radius of Old Hickory, TN.
Expenses are underwritten by the DuPont Company as a service
to the community.
The program is presented at a different school each
Thursday morning beginning in September and continuing
through April. Normally, schools will be visited on a
three year cycle. If you would like more information
