Fill the jar
with half water |

drops of food coloring in the water. |

on the jar and shake the mixture. |
Do the oil and
water mix? Why do you think they don't mix?
Answer: Oil
and water are not soluble in each other. Water also has a
higher density than oil. Naturally, the two will not mix.
